Victoria’s Secret & Co Announces New Corporate Leadership Structure; 5% of head office positions cut

THE WHAT? Victoria’s Secret has announced a new corporate leadership structure, designed to unite the company’s three business lines, Victoria’s Secret, Pink and Beauty, into one collaborative organization.

THE DETAILS The company has named current Pink CEO Amy Hauk as CEO of Victoria’s Secret and Pink, while Christine Rupp will join the company as Chief Customer Officer and Greg Unis has been named Chief Growth Officer.

The simplified management structure resulted in a reduction in the workforce of approximately 160 management positions, or approximately 5% of the company’s head office workforce.

THE WHY ? Martin Waters, CEO of VS&Co, said: “Over the past year, we have undertaken a thoughtful revolution in our business by redefining the VS brand and rebuilding our growth strategy. We can now better communicate with and represent our millions of customers around the world. As a result, we have more relevant brand positioning, more engaging merchandise assortments, and a more inclusive culture that celebrates our people. With our brand revolution well underway and gaining momentum, now is the time to reinvent our leadership structure to better align with a changing consumer landscape and become more effective as an organization.
